Lock Protectors are a good visual deterent to opportunistic van thieves.If someone does try to get in your van the lock protector stops the thief using the most common method of entering the van, which is by removing the lock or entering the lock with a screwdriver. The lock protector does this by not allowing the screwdriver to enter past the armaplate which means the thief cannot achieve the leverage needed to remove the lock or move the lock using the screwdriver.
